Gelsolin deficiency blocks podosome assembly and alpha(v) beta(3) integrin-stimulated signaling, resulting in hypomotile osteoclasts due to the retarded remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton. completed

Gelsolin deficiency was associated with normal skeletal development and endochondral bone growth, but mildly abnormal epiphyseal structure, retained cartilage proteoglycans in metaphyseal trabeculae, and increased trabecular thickness. With age, gelsolin-deficient mice expressed increased trabecular and cortical bone thickness producing mechanically stronger bones. completed

For mice and biosensors, a public database is not available and therefore we have attempted to generate a migration related list for your convenience.
